Bobby Gray playing as a makeshift centre-forward - sometimes very well...Billy Steele, the supersub for scoring vital late goals...Allan Moffat emerging during the second half of the season to replace Stuart Carr in the team...Davie Steedman being booked on his first 6 appearances for the club...Getting chased by skinheads from Stenhousemuir to Larbert Station...Being threatened by knife-wielding thugs in Berwick-upon-Tweed...Fighting on terraces at Forfar...Plugging school to make it to a midweek Cup replay at Elgin...George Young's worst goalkeeping error EVER to let Elgin score in the first game and set up that replay...Winning promotion at Stranraer...Taking Aberdeen all the way over three games...Crowds of nearly 3000 for games against Alloa and Stranraer...Dull midweek games at Annfield in the second half of the season...John Kennedy leading the team in impressive style...Winning the Stirlingshire Cup at the end of the season by beating Falkirk, Alloa and Clydebank in the space of a week...Watching the Binos draw 4-4 at Cliftonhill in the fog...
