Danny McLennan
McLennan signed for Stirling Albion as a player in 1946 from Rangers as a highly rated inside left. However, he only managed three games with the club before moving on to Falkirk. Amongst his other clubs include, East Fife, Dundee and Berwick Rangers, whom he joined s Player-Coach in 1957. Danny was appointed manager at Annfield in June 1960, however his stay was to brief, in fact less than one year. The directors did not like some of his methods and following a simmering disagreement they parted company. Years later he took charge of Worchester City, before acting as a “football missionary”, travelling to the Middle East and many other places to become a well known figure in football. |
