Stirling ended their 25-match winless run as they claimed a shock 3-2 win over Morton.
Carlo Monti put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute when he blasted home from the spot following Michael Doyle's foul on David O'Brien.
And after Ross Forsyth had gone close for the home side, fellow midfielder Stephen Stirling turned home Forsyth's cross to level the scores three minutes before the break.
Stirling grabbed his second of the match with a penalty on the stroke of half-time after he was brought down by Grant Evans.
Midfielder Brian Graham spurned a chance to equalise when he volleyed a 65th-minute effort over the crossbar from the centre of the penalty area.
But the visitors' fourth defeat in a row was confirmed when striker Michael Mullen tapped in the third from close range, making Stuart McCaffrey's late header from 12 yards a consolation.
