Stirling triumph in basement battle
Stirling moved off the bottom as they defeated Clyde 2-0 in the Irn-Bru Division Three basement battle at Forthbank.
Greig McDonald's side came flying out of the traps when Jordan White's left-sided cross found Kieran McAnespie on the far side of the penalty area and the midfielder hit a left-footed volley into the corner after five minutes.
White provided another assist after 32 minutes, when his ball from the right found team-mate Mark Ferry, and his drilled shot found the bottom corner of the net to give the home side victory.
The win takes Stirling's unbeaten run to five games and sees Clyde replace the hosts at the foot of the table.
