John Baird's headed goal 10 minutes from time gave Raith a 2-1 victory at relegated Stirling to keep them within a point of Scottish First Division leaders Dunfermline.
Raith went in front after quarter of an hour Allan Walker finding the bottom corner with a free-kick from just outside the area.
Albion were almost level four minutes later when Gordon Smith's 18-yard effort was well saved by Rovers goalkeeper Andrew McNeil.
Stirling eventually equalised after 63 minutes, Joshua Flood controlling Smith's pass to convert from inside the area.
Flood was then denied by McNeil before Raith retook the lead, Baird latching onto Stephen Simmons' flick-on to convert from close range.
Walker nearly made it 3-1 on 90 minutes but his 25-yard effort hit the crossbar.
