White wins it then sees red
Jordan White's second-half penalty earned rock-bottom Stirling a 1-0 win over 10-man Peterhead as they made it back-to-back victories.
But White's afternoon turned sour when he was shown the red card in the 90th minute for his second booking.
Peterhead started brightly and almost went in front but Mark Peat pulled off a fine save to deny Rory McAllister from inside the six-yard box.
But the visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 17th minute when Scott Ross saw red for an off-the-ball incident.
White drilled in a stinging half-volley that Graeme Smith did well to cling on to as Stirling began to make their numerical advantage count.
And they were rewarded with a 67th-minute lead, coming after White scored from the spot following substitute Graeme Sharp's foul on Stephen Day.
White had a header well saved as they continued to dominate, but they had to settle for one goal as the man of the match took an early bath.
