Four-star Sons secure victory
Mark Gilhaney scored a late brace as Dumbarton beat 10-man Stirling 4-1 at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium.
The Binos got off to a flying start when Scott Davidson's long-range drive found the bottom corner after three minutes.
Dumbarton hit back immediately after the restart, Ally Graham on hand to finish well inside the area from Patrick Walker's knock down.
But Davidson turned the villain 10 minutes later when he was dismissed after raising his hands to an opponent.
The Sons took the lead in the 73rd minute, Graham involved again as his cross was thumped home by Scott Agnew.
And two goals from Gilhaney, one in the 80th minute and another seven minutes later ensured a comfortable finish.
Defeat leaves Stirling bottom as they continue to search for a first win in eight outings.
