Stirlingshire Cup 2004/05

The format for the Stirlingshire Cup sees another slight change this season. Instead of trying to insist that group matches are played pre-season, the Stirlingshire FA have agreed that they should be completed by the end of September.
Albion have been drawn in a Group with Alloa and Stenhousemuir. Our match against Alloa will take place at Forthbank on Saturday July 24th – we had hoped to have Blackpool as visitors that day but the game against Colin Hendry’s side fell through. No date has been arranged yet for the match with Stenhousemuir which is scheduled to take place at Ochilview.
The other Group comprises Falkirk, East Stirlingshire and Dumbarton.
The final has been arranged for Tuesday October 19th and will be played at Falkirk’s new stadium at Westfield.
Albion are, of course, holders of the trophy having defeated Shire in last season’s final.
