Stirling Sign Two Players Stirling Albion today, Friday the 10th of September, announced the signing of two new players on one month contracts. Eighteen year old goalkeeper Charles Clark has signed on a one month contract after being released by Clyde manager Billy Reid. The talented young keeper, who has in recent years had run ins with with the law, and has frequently went AWOL, is likely to go straight onto the bench for tomorrow's game with Greenock Morton, replacing Under 18's keeper Scott Christie who has deputised for Myles Hogarth so fat this season. Meanwhile, the Binos second signing of the day came in the shape of Australian youngster Mitchell Prentice. The twenty year old central midfielder has signed on at the club for one month. It is hoped Mitchell will improve his match fitness whilst also challenging the present midfield for a starting berth, and if he impresses it is believed he will sign on till the next transfer window in January. |
