#18 – Fir Park, Motherwell.

Fir Park has succumbed how to the march of the box-girder grandstand. Like other Premier League venues it has become an all seated concrete monstrosity, losing much of its character along the way.
The covered enclosure at Fir Park, opposite the main stand, used to be a tremendous feature of the ground. Rival fans could exchange banter through the segregation fence in the days when football was a real day out.
Only the main stand remains unchanged from the good old days of the late 70s early 80s – when Albion played at Motherwell frequently.
